Well Edmonton - are you happy? now you're being critisized by CALGARY!!!! I never thought I'd see the day that Calgary would come out on a higher horse than Edmonton! and be right! sigh! Let's keep the true spirit of Christmas alive!
First I have to start off a bit negative and say that I really hate everything PC ! there is no common sense to it and it only suits a small core of small minded hypocrites! What gets me really angry is the push to ban Christmas from western countries! The tradition of celebrating Christmas goes back centuries. It does not advocate anything negative at all, in fact it is the opposite! Christmas is all about spreading joy, good will, love, kindness, festivity, friendship, togetherness etc etc etc. What is threatening about that? The answer is - absolutely nothing! People who cater to disposing of Christmas so as to not "offend" others are ignorant for several reasons. Firstly , it is part of our heritage and culture. We do not go to a predominantly Muslim or Jewish country and tell them to stop practising their beliefs so why is it acceptable to do it to us?
